Introduction

Thanks for visiting our brand new blog. I have created this blog as a way to update family and friends with news of our babies.

The important stuff:
Babies were born on Sunday, August 25th, 2013
Stokes Taylor (Baby A) - 8:04 PM, 2 lbs 5 oz, 14 inches
Ryan Thomas (Baby B) - 8:04 PM, 2 lb 5 oz, 14 1/2 inches
William Robert (Baby C) - 8:05 PM, 1 lb 14 oz, 13 3/4 inches
27 weeks exactly gestational age
We had about 17 people in the OR, including Thomas, for my C-section & each baby has his own team of NICU doctors and nurses
They were taken to the NICU (neo natal intensive care unit) very shortly after delivery
Although they are very small, I am told that they were pretty big for their gestational age (good thing!!)
They are fraternal (ie not identical) triplets
All three are extremely handsome :)

Right now the boys are 5 days old and are all being tough little fighters in the NICU.  We have had some really cool moments and some worrisome updates from the nurses as well as good news and positives and overall they seem to be doing OK.

I promise I will post a lot more details (some interesting, some probably not so much ha!) including the pregnancy, bed rest at Greenville Memorial, delivery (I won't post TMI....or at least try not to!), frequent health updates in regards to our beautiful boys, and of course pictures of them!

People have asked what they can do for us and here is the answer-PRAY!  We are praying non-stop and have a lot of people praying daily.  I told this to our sons and they were all very grateful!  Please pray for them to continue to grow and get stronger.  We want these little guys healthy and happy so we can bring them home!  A general rule of thumb is that preemies will stay in the NICU until their full term due date, which is November 24.  This will make for long and bumpy road and your prayers will help all of us. Thanks in advance for your continued prayers.  They have helped so far!

For now I am short on time and wanted to get this blog created. Check back soon for more info and thanks for visiting!
